Another month, another Vogue cover. Rihanna is unstoppable. Not only the music / entertaining industry is bowing down to her, fashion is also paying its tribute with fashion magazines features.
This year’s Vogue’s shape issue, as covered by Rihanna, was a beauty to look at and to get closer to, browsing through its pages. November 2011 brings a Vogue UK cover girl feature for wig – loving Rihanna. She’s looking great on the cover and I simply love the blue sky background you’ll see more of in the inside pictorial – it has that retro vibe and modern bold attitude we seek in our leading ladies. (although the images were not officially confirmed by Vogue UK, the fashion people already discuss her Vogue pictorial)
You better take note, I’m telling you, the bob is all around! By the time Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe hits the big screen, hair stylists everywhere better be on top of their bob skills! What? It can’t be just me who’s seeing this bob inevitability! Can it? (a closer look at Rihanna’s blonde wig in the gallery)

Rihanna sure nows how to be young & hot! This cover has all the right elements – blue background & the dress is spectacular but she looks kinda small? Finally this is a better homage to MM then US Vogue’s Michelle Williams’ cover – IMHO.
This is a great cover and Rihanna looks stellar in all the photos shown, but I find that she reminds me far more of Angie Dickinson than say Marilyn Monroe in these photos.
It seems of late that there is a big Mad Men feel to these photos and to the bob hairdo/cut. : )
